VFD800 Customer Display has option for 2 interface, USB and RS232 (Serial). Both interface could support 5~12V power supply. This to prevent damage to the VFD by improper power input.

The brightness of VFD800 is 1000cd/m2, It is 5 times bright than LCD customer display.
